Clip: CryEngine 3 In Action

You’ve read what it does, now see CryEngine 3 in action, Crytek’s flagship all-in-one multiplatform middleware suite. Specifically, the video highlights what is possible on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 through several tech demo segments.
In a word, it’s impressive. Crytek has managed to pull off the visual equivalent of running high settings in Crysis on a console, which is a feat in itself. The developer tools discussed earlier, such as the ability to view compiled code running in real-time on all platforms simultaneously, also make an appearance in this clip.
It’s an exciting time for gamers and even more so, for developers.
