Developer Valve today officially detailed its pre-order campaign for Left 4 Dead 2, revealing that those who reserve the title at “participating retailers” will receive 10 percent off the purchase price, bringing it down to $45 and $55 for the PC and Xbox 360 version respectively. To top it off, Valve is throwing early access to the L4D2 demo into the mix, in addition to an exclusive in-game melee weapon, the American baseball bat.
Featuring an revamped AI director capable of procedurally altering environments to allow for a deeper co-op gameplay experience, Left 4 Dead 2 is due out November 17 on PC and Xbox 360. The early access pre-order demo is currently targeted for October 27.
