Rush Rush Rally Racing Hits Dreamcast In October

by Mike Bendel on September 8, 2009 @ 8:45 pm

Independent developer Senile Games today announced Rush Rush Rally Racing and it’s heading to an unlikely platform: the Dreamcast. Promising old fashioned retro gameplay, the title is a top down racer with up to four-way multiplayer. Judging from the video clip above, it looks to deliver on that promise, complete with support for online highscores and varying difficulty levels.

It’s a choice time to make such an announcement, as the 10th anniversary of Sega’s now-defunct platform is tomorrow. Nice to see that even ten years later the Dreamcast is still alive and kicking through unofficial development, albeit at a rate of a couple new titles each year.

Rush Rush Rally Racing is scheduled for release in October. Pre-orders are currently being accepted over at the publisher’s site.

It looks like Mashed for PS2/XBox and PC. Its multiplayer mode is very entertaining. I hope this will be the same.

I wonder if Chilly Willy will be buying this one. His latest work is on the Dreamcast i've seen on another board.
