After being successfully deployed in titles like Dead Rising and Resident Evil 5, Capcom is once again turning to Havok’s widely used physics engine in several of its upcoming titles.

The company announced today that it has inked a deal with the middleware provider, making Havok’s multiplatform solution its “development tool of choice.”

We’re proud to be a part of Capcom’s development strategy. Havok Physics was easily integrated into Capcom’s existing game development pipeline and we believe these triple-A projects will showcase the unparalleled flexibility and robustness of Havok Physics.

Look to see Havok-powered physics being used in Lost Planet 2 and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.
