LittleBigPlanet GOTY Includes $30 Worth Of Content

Early last month, Sony revealed plans to give LittleBigPlanet the re-release treatment with a GOTY, or Game of the Year edition. In a report, it was vaguely mentioned that the GOTY disc would include “much” of the downloadable content released over PSN thus far.

According to an Amazon listing, the GOTY disc will offer $30 in “bonus content” at a reduced price point. Seeing as the total value for all LittleBigPlanet DLC released to date reaches far past that price point, it seems as if this re-release will offer only a small portion of paid content, not the majority as we were originally led to believe. Regardless, though, this is still an enticing deal for those who have yet to pick up the game.

The GOTY edition of LittleBigPlanet is scheduled to hit store shelves later this year. An exact date has yet to be pinned down, with Amazon unfortunately offering no insight on that front.

Hey, you never heard of Game of the Year Editions? It's when they re-release a game but with some content added. Like COD4 GOTY had new multiplayer packs added. It's really not necessary to buy it unless you have no internet connection or credit card...
