Remedy: 360 Lead Platform for Alan Wake, PC Release Coming Later?
by Mike Bendel on July 7, 2009 @ 11:49 am

It’s been years since Alan Wake was initially touted as one of the first games to utilize DirectX 10 technology on PC. Fast-forward to present day and developments surrounding the game have been centered around the Xbox 360 version, seemingly leaving its PC counterpart in the backseat.
Sure enough, Remedy staffer MarkusRMD confirmed our fears today. Fears that will sting if you’re an avid PC gamer. According to Markus, all efforts over are currently being placed on the 360 version of Alan Wake, further noting that comments in regards to a PC version will be made at a later date.
We hate to say it, but that all but confirms Alan Wake will be hitting Xbox 360 first, with a PC release coming later, possibly far down the road if Markus’ statement is any indication.
