Ballmer: New Xbox 360 Hitting Shelves In 2010

Speaking to a group of attendees at The Executive’s Club of Chicago, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer reportedly revealed that a new Xbox 360 configuration is slated for release in 2010, one that is said to come equipped with a “natural interface” and built-in camera.
What’s more, is that this camera will have the ability to recognize movement and voice. Sure sounds uncannily similar to Project Natal. Although Microsoft’s gaming division has been quick to dismiss rumors of a successor to the current Xbox, they have not ruled out that of a another revision based on existing tech.
Could that mean this “new Xbox 360″ Ballmer alluded to is simply a hardware bundle with Natal pre-included? Certainly sounds plausible, seeing as higher adoption rates of a technology will translate into more developers taking advantage of it.
