Wired news had a brief opportunity to speak to Sony exec Phil Harrison who commented that the PS3 is region free for games but not movies. When questioned about the PS3 price cut in Japan in reference to the USA, Harrison responded that in all the other regions the ‘magical price’ was on target except for Japan.
