Remember Chibi-Robo? Though often overlooked, it was a charming little adventure game released for the GameCube last year. The game had players take the role of a three inch tall robot called Chibi Robo, whose purpose is to bring happiness to the family that owns him. Players would spend their time cleaning floors, searching for items, tending the garden, and speaking to other toys.

Now Skip plans to recreate the experience on the Nintendo DS in Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol. These new screenshots from Nintendo show the little robot mascot blooming a flower. Players will use the stylus to push a water pump as well as sow a flower seed.

Check out the rest of the screenshots after the jump. Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol is due out in Japan this July, with a US release soon to follow in September.

I think this looks kinda neat, to be honest. Didn't play the one for GC, but this looks interesting.
