Today Microsoft jointly announced with Namco Bandai Games that Pac-Man Championship Edition will be heading to the Xbox Live Arcade service. For 800 Microsoft Points, gamers will get a revamped version of Pac-Man with all-new mazes displayed in glorious HD, new soundtracks, and six new timed game modes.

Players will also get to enjoy the usual features that come with most XBLA titles, such as leaderboards and achievements. The game will go live tomorrow, June 6, at 0900 GMT. Full details on each game mode can be found after the jump, along with the first screenshots.

Yeah, it is another Pac-Man game. But it looks damn nice.
