Natsume announced today that it has picked up rights to publish exploration title Afrika in North America.

Designed to replicate the African safari experience, players assume the role of a freelance photographer and explore the lush surroundings of a remote conservation area. Players can take breathtaking photos of wildlife and purchase upgraded equipment with money earned from selling photos. Sounds like Pokemon Snap but with realism, yeah? To make things even more interesting, players will have a chance at having their photos taken within the game featured on National Geographic.

Afrika is due out early fall on PlayStation 3.
