Renegade Kid announced today that it will be working with Gamecock Media Group to launch their first Nintendo DS game – Dementium: The Ward. The title promises to set the bar for mature handheld games, and to be honest, it has a good chance as the portable survival horror market is extremely saturated.

As an all-new, fully 3D horror tale, Dementium: The Ward tells the tale of a man who awakens to find himself alone in a mysterious, derelict hospital that is frozen in time. Deadly, unnatural surgical experiments roam the hallways. In an attempt to escape, players will be forced to solve various puzzles and unlock the mysteries of the hospital.
