XBLA Wednesday: Gel: Set & Match, Blazing Birds

If in search of variety or just something different from the usual crop of commercial titles, look no further than this week’s indy XBLA lineup. Up first is block-matching puzzler hybrid Gel: Set & Match, offering co-op play over Live and an array of character customization options.

Joining Gel is Blazing Birds, a futuristic badminton effort infused with all sorts of robotic monstrosities. As one of the crown jewels of XNA’s 2007 Dream.Build.Play competition, featured are sixty computer controlled opponents across three separate difficulty settings.

Both titles will set you back 800 and 400 MS points, respectively.
