SEGA today announced plans to serve up a second wave of retro classics during the summer months in the second installment of its Vintage Collection line.

Gunstar Heroes, as previously rumored, is headed to both PSN and XBLA. Pixel-perfect ports of Altered Beast, Shinobi, Comix Zone, Phantasy Star 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Sonic and Knuckles are also en-route. A PSN release for these titles is still up in the air, so consider them XBLA exclusive for now.

You may recognize most of these titles from the Ultimate Genesis collection released earlier this year. Expect pricing to fall in line with titles previously released under the Vintage Collection banner at 400 MS points apiece. Due to the inclusion of leaderboards and online co-op play, Gunstar Heroes may end up carrying a premium price tag, but we’ll have to wait for official word from Sega before making any final assumptions.
