It’s hard to imagine that many people have held out this long, but if you have yet to pick up Valve’s Orange Box, now’s the time to do so. Seriously. For this weekend only, Valve has slashed the price of the five-pack wonder to just $9.99 — a 66 percent price reduction.

Included in the anthology are all three Half Life 2 episodes, along with Portal and Team Fortress 2. Considering it was already quite the deal at full price, you can’t go wrong here.

this for retail or internet?

if it is for stores, then TF2 here I come!

x3sphere says:

Unfortunately it is a Steam only promotion. I bought myself a copy actually, but even though I already had TF2 it doesn't let me gift it to someone else :\ Apparently that only works with HL2 and HL2: EP1.

jx233 says:

Bummer for me.

when the time comes and when I get game, I'll will join you on TF2.

I need to know about TF2, what are minimum PC requirements (RAM, graphics card, OS, etc.)

x3sphere says:

Not very steep. If you have a relatively recent PC (say anywhere in the ballpark of 3 years old) it should run fine.

Team Fortress 2 Recommended System Requirements

CPU: 2.4 GHz Processor

RAM: 512 MB

Graphics Card: DirectX 9 capable graphics card 256 MB

Windows 2000/XP/ME/98

Mouse

Keyboard

Internet Connection

CD or DVD rom drive

Also keep in mind the CPU requirement is based on a single core. So if you have a dual core at only 2 GHz, that's even better.

Just purchased yesterday, i'm excited to finally get to play TF2, steam has really had some great deals recently.

jx233 says:

Nice. I think I have dual core CPU and that is good, but I'm stuck with a Intel G33 graphics card (G33 is terrible btw).

That means TF2 will work out for me. Since I have other stuff to do, buying this game will happen a little later.

just bought it even though I had it for the 360 when it was released and beat HL2 under my old steam account but lost the password for that...I traded in the 360 version though and have my own copy of tf2...pity you can't gift it to someone :(

PROTIP, never give your mate a lend of your account and forget the password

I've most of my old games back anyways now and have a username I actually want...last one was Linda77....lol.don't ask :P
