Today Nintendo of Japan divulged some new screenshots of the banana-hunting gorilla’s first Wii game, Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race (otherwise known as DK Bongo Blast or Donkey Jet). As a racing game, Taru Jet is set to make full use of the Wii’s motion sensing capabilities. Players will shake the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in conjunction to accelerate, while shaking just one will make your character turn in the direction you choose.

Donkey Kong Taru Jet Race is scheduled to hit Japan on June 28, with a US and Europe date yet to be announced.
