It is a holiday today, but that’s not stopping Nintendo from delivering another stellar Wii Virtual Console update. This week brings us three more classics to add to the ever-growing VC library.

ActRaiser (SNES, 800 Wii Points): A unique blend of action and strategy gameplay, coupled with an outstanding soundtrack to tout. The epic quest puts players in the role of God himself, who has vowed to free his worshippers from the grasp of an evil nemesis, known as the Evil One.

Kid Chameleon (Sega Genesis, 800 Wii Points): Local arcade gamers have been literally getting sucked into some holographic arcade game. You, as Kid Chameleon, must jump into an unreal video game world and stop Heady Metal, who is responsible for this galactic mess.

J.J. & JEFF (TurboGrafx16, 600 Wii Points): A side-scrolling platform game loosely inspired by the television show America’s Funniest Home Videos. As two bungling detectives, you’ll traverse through six fields, each filled with potty humor and hilarious outtakes.
