As part of a recent investor presentation, THQ has confirmed plans to release follow-ups to a number of its key properties, including Red Faction and Saints Row.

According to the presentation slide, Red Faction 4, Darksiders 2 and an MMO based in the Warhammer 40K universe are due out in THQ’s fiscal year 2012, which begins on April 1, 2011. Meanwhile, a third installment in the Saints Row series is pegged for next year.

Seeing as Red Faction: Guerrilla and Darksiders have yet to hit store shelves, it’s somewhat of a surprise to hear that follow-ups to both titles are already being planned, leading us to believe that THQ must have strong faith in these franchises. Guerrilla is slated to hit store shelves on June 9, while Darksiders is due later this year.

As with all forward outlook statements, these release windows are subject to change.
