Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Heading To DS In 2009

During this year’s Game Developers Conference, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced that the tentatively titled Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is in development for DS. A video was shown to attendees of Nintendo’s keynote, showcasing Link as he drives a train across the Zelda universe. Gameplay appears to be entirely stylus controlled, akin to that of Phantom Hourglass. The game is slated for a release later this year and is expected to make an E3 appearance.

Sweet! [:w00t:] Nintendo is already making another Legend of Zelda game. I was hoping they'd work on one for the Wii, but portable Zelda just as good too. My favorite Zelda game for the handheld consoles is The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap.

Its a favorite of mine. :D (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is still my number one favorite; then followed by number two, which is The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.)
