It’s official: Halo Wars is a hit. But who expected otherwise? Microsoft sends along word today that the strategy RPG effort, handled by the now-defunct Age of Empires developer Ensemble Studios, has sold through one million copies worldwide. A coveted milestone to reach, no doubt.
Since its inception last month, Halo Wars has seen a total of 2.6 million matches hosted over Live. Moveover, an average of 200,000 people have participate in battles each day, logging in 118 years worth of play time total.
