Resident Evil 5 Leaked, Hits Torrent Sites

In what seems to be commonplace for major Xbox 360 releases these days, a digital copy of Capcom’s survival horror sequel Resident Evil 5 is already making rounds on torrent sites, ahead of its scheduled March 13 release date.
Weighing in at a 6.71GB, the release was dumped from a USA region disc and according to various reports, has been confirmed as the full retail version. Doing a quick search on a popular torrent site showed over 4000 people downloading the ISO file, which was posted just a couple hours ago. Shame, but like we said, this isn’t the first time it has happened. Capcom can’t be very happy about it, obviously. Hopefully the real fans can wait it out another week and not resort to piracy.
