RPG powerhouse Square-Enix announced today that the company will be bringing Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, the first entry in the handheld Ivalice Alliance, to North American and European shores this October for the PSP. Part deux of this grand alliance, which features Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, will be shipping over to US retailers this Winter for the Nintendo DS.

Additionally, Square’s dual-screen take on the Pokemon formula, known as Dragon Quest Monsters – Joker, will be hitting North America sometime in Q4 of this year for none other than the Nintendo DS.

Finally, Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors, will be launching in Japan this July for the Wii. A US release date has yet to be determined, but rest assured that it is coming here.
