Heads up RPG loving fans — EA and developer BioWare have provided the first glimpse at Mass Effect 2 with the first-ever teaser trailer. Suffice to say, it leaves us with quite the cliffhanger. Don’t take our word for it though, see for yourself.

A direct sequel, Mass Effect 2 is due out early next year. Platform specifics have yet to be announced, although it is widely assumed the sequel will hit multiple formats, unlike the previous installment which was initially released as an Xbox 360 exclusive.
