Konami today announced that the third Metal Gear Online expansion, dubbed SCENE, is coming in March. To be offered as paid DLC, the pack expands upon the content-rich universe of MGO with new maps, special characters, new gear, and a couple surprises thrown in for good measure.
Making his MGO debut in the pack is Raiden donned in a futuristic cyborg-like suit, along with series antagonist Vamp. Both characters will sport a bevy of special abilities and offensive power,” according to the announcement, though further details were not given.
In addition to the aforementioned characters, the expansion will mark the arrival of three new multiplayer maps prime for tactical stealth action: Outer Outlet, Hazard House, Ravaged Riverfront.
Later in March, fans will be able to pre-order SCENE expansion over at Konami’s official website to receive a free piece of in-game head gear — a cardbox box. Pricing is to be announced, but expect it to fall in line with the game’s previous expansion sets, which launched at around $10 dollars.
