Just in time for Valentine’s Day festivities, Microsoft has launched its “Free Your Avatar” toolkit, which allows users to export their avatar from Xbox LIVE in a format suitable for sharing with friends and family. Once exported, users can then customize their image, adding props and backgrounds to liven things up.

Microsoft says the tool will provide backdrops and props for every special occasion, from birthdays to holidays. Additionally, it is possible to upload your own images for use as backgrounds. Check it out at Xbox.com.
