Update: Don’t Panic let us know that entries are accepted on a worldwide basis, not only from the UK. So go ahead, sign-up and submit your best!

The folks over at Don’t Panic have teamed up with Capcom to launch a competition inviting all Street Fighter fans to illustrate their own version of any one of 19 characters from the new Street Fighter IV roster. Strive to be creative — any style of art will do, from watercolor to vector.

As a reward, the winning participant will have their design printed on 100,000 Don’t Panic posters, which are to be distributed later this March, along with an original piece of SF4 artwork signed by producer Yoshinori Ono and a PlayStation 3 and a copy of the game. The top ten runner-ups will receive a copy of SFIV on either Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

For official rules and design briefs, head on over to the contest page.
