As part of the latest GameTrailers TV segment, Valve has revealed that the recently announced Survival Mode for Left 4 Dead will see “up to four players set records for the longest time surviving hordes of zombies on over 12 maps.”

Although it was not specified, the maps featured in this mode will be selected from the current crop of campaigns.
